The Japanese Friendship Garden (JFG) is proud to announce the return of Cherry Blossom Week as Cherry Blossom Season!
The celebration will continue to combine both cultural education with family fun by offering special virtual and on-site programming during the month of March.
From kendo demonstrations to visiting weekend vendors, there's something for everyone to enjoy at JFG or from the comforts of their home!
On site visitors will be able to stroll the upper and lower areas featuring koi ponds, bonsai, colorful florae, and enjoy the Japanese custom of hanami — appreciating the beauty of cherry blossom flowers — while on-demand performances and digital content will be readily available for everyone.
Keeping the safety of all guests and JFG staff in mind, safety policies in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic will be updated regularly to reflect current restrictions and guidelines from the State of California and San Diego County governments.
